Why we do what we do

At Southwark Independent Voice (SIV), our aim is to ensure that all families of children and young people with SEND in Southwark feel supported, informed, and heard. We strive to:

Building a supportive parent/carer community to reduce isolation and strengthen families.
Ensuring parents and carers have a voice in shaping local services by raising awareness of the challenges faced by SEND families.
Working in partnership with Education, Health, and Social Care, we are committed to making sure that parent/carers experiences are at forefront in the development and delivery of services.
Providing clear and accessible information to help families navigate the SEND system with confidence.
Working together, we can create a stronger, more informed, and connected SEND community in Southwark.
